James Pryor taught at Harvard and Princeton before joining the NYU department in 2005. His research focus is epistemology, formal semantics (especially issues at the intersection of philosophy, linguistics, and computer science), logic, philosophy of mind, and related issues in action theory, ethics, and metaphysics.
