Camil Golub is a PhD student in Philosophy. He graduated from the University of Bucharest, and started a PhD in Philosophy at the same university, before coming to NYU as a visiting graduate student in 2009-2010. The excellent year spent here convinced him it was worth applying for the full program and starting over as a first-year student. He joined the program in 2011. He is primarily interested in metaethics, philosophy of logic and evolutionary naturalism. More specifically, he is trying to understand how normativity and objectivity fit into the natural world.
