ELIZA BLOCK is a fourth-year graduate student in philosophy at NYU, writing her dissertation on scalar implicature.
She graduated from Harvard in 2000, having studied more linguistics than philosophy, and having written an undergraduate thesis on the semantics of conditional statements. After teaching math for a few years, she spent two years in the philosophy PhD program at Princeton, before transferring to NYU.
Eliza has been writing useless programs for Mac OS X. This one finds closed loops through a grid of dots, hitting every dot once.
