My philosophical interests are broad but I most enjoy philosophy of language and ethics.
After completing my BA at Cambridge I spent a year at Harvard filling in some of the gaps in my education by learning about astronomy and looking at fossils. I then left academia for a year, during which I worked with homeless people in south London, taught English in Sudan, and made my bid for fame on the well-known Radio Khartoum. Despite frequent trips abroad, I have spent most of my life in Devon (in the south-west corner of England), which I still think is probably the most beautiful place in the world. Not least, it is home to my three very little and very charming siblings.
