HYUNSEOP KIM is a second-year Ph.D. student. He is mainly interested in moral, political, and legal philosophy. He is also interested in language, metaphysics, epistemology, mind, and their application to the issues in practical philosophy.

He majored in law as an undergraduate. After passing the Korean Bar Exam, he studied at the Judicial Research & Training Institute in Korea and served as a Judge Advocate. He sat on the bench in Korea for a while before he came to NY in 2006.
