JED LEWINSOHN received his B.A. from Cornell University in Philosophy and German Studies, and studied in Berlin and Jerusalem during and after college. His current research is primarily in early modern philosophy (especially 17th century), political philosophy, and moral psychology. He also has strong interests in philosophy of language, epistemology, and Jewish thought (especially the philosophical aspects of Jewish law).
