JEREMY DOLAN was born in California but grew up in Chicago. After accidentally dropping out of high school, he went to work for a computer consulting firm, providing network security and doing open source software development. After five years cloistered in the business world his curiosity got the better of him. He returned to school to study philosophy, psychology, and French, and received a B.A. from Northeastern Illinois University in 2009. His undergraduate thesis was focused on pain and theories of perception. He thinks he would like to pursue similar research in the future.
