JONNY COTTRELL is egocentric. His philosophical interests include first personal thought, self-knowledge and self-consciousness; immunity to error through misidentification; and bodily perception. Recently, he’s been telling people that his dissertation project concerns bodily self-knowledge, and he seems to be getting away with it so far.
Jonny is also interested in the metaphysics of mind, agency, personhood and animality; and in what the Great Dead Early Modern Philosophers (especially Descartes and Hume) had to say about all of these topics.
