MELIS ERDUR is a fourth year Ph.D. student.  She received her B.A. and M.A. in philosophy from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
Her main area of interest is meta-normativity (which, she insists, has no direct normative implications).   Recently she also became interested in subjects related to the Armenian genocide, such as acknowledgment, memory, identity, and especially, contexts that make otherwise intelligent people idiots and otherwise sensitive people cruel.

Her favorite activity is thinking about the fact/value distinction.
