MICHAEL SCHWEIGER grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but eventually left Steeler country to pursue an undergraduate degree at Calvin College.  Having spent four years in the Midwest, he graduated in 2006 with a BA in philosophy.  Michael is primarily interested in metaphysics.   He hopes to spend a lot of his time at NYU thinking about modality, dependence, parts, persistence, sets, essence, paradox, time, properties, existence, definition, and truth.
