NICK RIGGLE is a first-year PhD student who grew up in Santa Rosa, California. He cut his high school career short to be a professional rollerblader. After lots of skating, he went to college to study philosophy and ended up at UC Berkeley, where he wrote an honors thesis in the philosophy of language. He still skates, but frequently finds himself injured as a result. Happily, philosophy rarely has this effect. When he's not skating or doing philosophy, he's working on his musical project, which he hopes to finish before he gets his PhD.
