I am a first-year Philosophy graduate student at New York University. Before coming here I attended graduate school at Rutgers University for two years, and before that I received my B.A. in Philosophy from Western Washington University.
I'm interested in a variety of areas of Philosophy, including Philosophy of Language, Moral Psychology, Philosophy of Logic, Kant and Philosophy of Religion. But the area I love above all others is Metaphysics, especially the study of: Abstracta, Causation, Location, Mereology, Modality, Ontology, Time and Topology. I also enjoy learning about Linguistics.
When I'm not busy learning about any of those topics, I'm often doing one of these things instead: attending and organising conferences, singing a cappella, dancing, and visiting friends and family in Ketchikan (my hometown in Alaska) and Bellingham.
